Here's to a better year!

Well the past few days have been interesting.....not as interesting as the past year though.
On Saturday I managed to fell down the stairs. TO my luck, i just got some lovely bumps and bruises. So on top of Mr. Mito pain, i have been in constant muscle pain from the fall. You can pretty much find me hunched over like my 91 year old grandmom (her birthday was yesterday! Happy birthday grandma!!!)

As for 2013, I managed to survive! I finished three semesters of college, I made it into the National Honor Society, turned 21, decided what college i am going to transfer to and live at next year, I've made some amazing new friends and so much more!

Here's hoping that 2014 will be even better!! All the best and all my love...

So, I've been planning to work on this blog for a while now. Life has just been really hectic. At the moment I am on winter break from school (thank god), so i actually have time to sit down and write.

Life has been alright for me lately. I finished my 3rd semester of college about two weeks ago. It was really challenging considering my health hasnt been the most stable. If I wasnt doing school work, I was sleeping or dealing with medical issues. It was exhausting. There were so many things that i wanted to do, but i didnt have the time or energy to do so. I put all my energy into my schooling, leaving very little to practically no free time for me. I started a quilt project in August for Ginnifer Goodwin, but havent gotten very far. It is one thing that sucks. I can plan all I want, but 99% of the time, those plans never come to fruition. My health has a life of its own and Mr. Mito tends to flare up at the least convienant time possible!

Anyways, My christmas went pretty well. It was busy and left me exhausted. I have slept about 20 hours out of the day for the past two days and I am still famished of energy. It is barely 7:30 pm as I am writing this and I am already tired enough to go to sleep. Such an entertaining winter break for a 21 year old, right?

Welcome

Welcome ye amazing people! I decided to create this blog to kinda document my life. The past 6 1/2 years have been a crazy ride and i thought I would let you all take a look into what goes down in my life. If i could open some eyes, let people see, truly see, what living with a chronic illness does to a person, then maybe, it could bring us closer to finding a cure. It may not be the prettiest of journeys but hopefully it will be a tad entertaining.

So welcome to this crazy ride, I call LIFE!

all my love,

Colleen
